On Sunday 21st December, the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, Rt. Rev. John Chalmers, visited us and preached at our morning service.
He spoke of the role of Logie & St. John’s (Cross) Church, as it opened its doors during 1914, at the time of the First World War. And, of our continuing purpose and involvement, in
the community today.
He also presented us with a commemorative stained glass plaque, depicting a dove of peace, made in Bethlehem.
