Children & youth
We think teaching children and young people is a vital part of our life as a church. From an early age, we want our children to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. And so we work hard at teaching them imaginatively with bite.
Sunday services - creche &
JAM club
During our 11.00am service, we have childcare for babies and toddlers (up to age 3), and teaching for all ages up to teenagers. If you are a visitor, we aim to make your children feel very much at home and welcomed into their groups.
Our goal with our JAM club (Jesus & Me) programmes is that our children will be grounded and confident in the gospel; that Jesus died for them too so that they can have peace with God. We want our children to grow in this faith and grace from an early age so that they are established in it throughout their adult lives.
Tiny Talk As our Toddlers Group is very popular, we've started Tiny Talk just for mums and babies under one. Come along for coffee & chat, at the cost of only £1.00. Enter via the Shaftesbury Terrace door. » Thursdays| 10.00-11.30am
Toddlers & Co
Many parents of young children appreciate having a toddler group where they can meet others in the community and make friends. Come and let your toddler play with the toys, get a snack, and enjoy a relatively undisturbed cup of tea! There is a 50p per child and per adult contribution towards the cost of the snacks, toys, and so on.

Wednesday Club & Friday Challenge

It doesn't take too much effort to figure out when these meet!
Wednesday Club is a weekly opportunity for upper-primary school-aged children who want to meet to play games together. There is also time each week to learn about Jesus from the Bible.
Junior Wednesday Club is for Primaries 3-5, and meets 6-7pm,
Wednesday Club is for Primary 6 upwards, and meets 7-8.30pm.
Friday Challenge meets ever second week and is for young people at secondary school. Evenings inlude games and other activities, together with time learning from the Bible how being a Christian works out in the 21st century.
Holiday club
Every year we run a holiday club during the first week of August.
This draws in 80-100 primary-school aged children from the
neighbourhood, for many of whom this will be their only time
in a church.
Through the fun, drama, games and crafts, we teach the truths
of why Jesus came to earth, and why he died for all people.
