Christianity Explored

Every year we run Christianity Explored courses. Used in many churches throughout the country, Christianity Explored is a course for anybody who would like to investigate Christianity for the first time, or just brush up on the basics. In a relaxed setting it addresses the questions of how we can know God, who Jesus was, and what it means to follow him.

No-one is asked to pray, sing or read aloud, and you can ask any question you like. Or, if you prefer, you can come along and simply listen.

What is a course like?

We meet in the rooms upstairs, via the Shaftesbury Terrace entrance.  Each meeting starts from 7pm with and informal time of  sharing soup & pudding, then watching a short DVD. There is plenty of time for discussion and questions.  We finish at 9pm in Room 1.

The current course is running on Tuesday evenings, from 17th January 2012.

How long is the course & do I need to come every week?

The course runs for 7 weeks. You don’t have to sign up for the whole thing: by all means come for one evening and see how you get on. It would help us for catering purposes to know if you’re going to join us, but don’t worry about just turning up on the night.

How can I find out more?

Informal Courses

We would like to run some more informal courses at different times by arrangement, if you'd be at all interested, please contact us for more information (you're not committing yourself!).
